Better Late...

than never. Nothing like posting a weekend recap on a Thursday! File this post under late and random. I thought I'd start the weekend off by photographing our living room. I needed a fresh pair of eyes to look at it through. Photographers, can I get an amen to that idea? So, here you have it. Also, a gratuitous shot of my new flats. A girl can never have too many.

My little brother graduated from UA on Saturday. Way to go...welcome to working for a living.

On a side note, it was nice to see the campus for the first time since yours truly graduated in 2005. Roll Tide!

Preston 2.0

So, I met Preston last Saturday at 4:00pm. I wanted to show him that I was trustworthy and fun to take pictures with, so I asked if he could give me a high five. He looks at me for a few seconds and then walks past my extended hand and plants a big juicy kiss on me!

I'm thinking, WOW, this is a good start to the shoot. About 4:10pm, the meltdown begins. We start to hear the words, "No, mama" to everything we say. Okay, maybe this isn't such a good idea.

Sunday morning around 10:00am, I meet a totally different little boy. The evidence is below. Too cute. Too blond. Looks just like his "mama."
